How to Book our Vacation Rental Cottage


We utilize Airbnb to manage all bookings for this cottage. This booking service provides additional conveniences and safeguards to both the owner (e.g., Bear Butte Gardens) and the renter (e.g., you), such as availability, scheduling, pricing, secure payment, policies, and reviews.

Other Notes

  • This is a working farm with livestock guardian dogs on the property. The dogs guard and protect our cattle, sheep, goats, and poultry. The dogs are generally in with the livestock they are guarding within good fencing. However, every day Rick takes the dogs for a perimeter walk - generally around sunset. Please be aware that the dogs might be roaming around at this time each day. Please do NOT approach the dogs or livestock without Rick or Michelle.
  • From the parking area to the cottage door, it is a short walk (about 30 feet) on a board sidewalk, and then up four steps.
