Products Available in the Farm Stand at Bear Butte Gardens
Not all products in our farm stand are organic certified, mainly because very few USDA Organic Certified producers exist in western South Dakota. Our supply line comprises about 60 local gardeners, farmers, ranchers, and crafters. The Bear Butte Gardens organic certified farm is simply one of many producers.
Fresh Produce
We offer a variety of fresh vegetables from local producers. Of course, this changes throughtout the year, with the season, as items become available and ripe.
We offer a fine selection of eggs — some from Bear Butte Gardens, and some from other local producers.
We stock many flavors of cheeses from Kasemeister Creamery of Frankfort SD.
When available, we have fresh mushrooms from Black Hills Mushrooms.
We also carry apples, apple cider, and applesauce from Krause Orchards.

Canned Goods, Sauces, and other Value Added Items
We utilize our commercial kitchen to can and preserve food. This is done with methods such as canning and dehydrating. We then offer these products for sale in our farm stand. We also offer similar products from a few other local producers such as Cox's Farm and Owl Creek Organics.

Meats
Most of the frozen meat we sell is from poultry and livestock raised on the Bear Butte Gardens Farm. However, we do occasionally utilize meat products from other local producers.
We sell meat by the cut, by the bundle, or by the whole/half/quarter.
The availablitiy of specific meat products is dependent upon the schedule of when we take an animal to the butcher.

Beverages - Beer, Wine, Fruit Juice, and Kombucha
We sell a great variety of local craft brews, local wines, and local kombucha.
For beer, we sell singles or packs. You can even mix-and-match to create your own custom pack.
Weather allowing, we invite you to sit out on the patio and enjoy your beverage and the view. Or, you can take it to go.

We have raw, unfiltered honey from Bear Butte Gardens, and from Rick’s brother Gerald (South of Lead, SD), and from Michelle’s brother Steve (near Spearfish).

Baked Goods
The commercial kitchen is generally used to bake yummy things at least one day every week! We strive to use healthier recipies and ingredients (e.g. organic certified, natural, etc.) whenever possible - making our baked goods healthy and delicious!
