A multiple-course Gourmet Dinner, prepared by Chef Travis Bartels, will be served family style
(each course on a platter to each table).
Includes non-alcohol beverages.
Beer & Wine available for purchase.
Dinner will be served outdoors,
under our large event tent.

Growing Mushrooms
Alan Carner of Black Hills Mushrooms will hold DIY Mushroom Growing workshops. Mushroom Grow Kits will be available for purchase.
Alan will also conduct Mushroom Log Inoculation demonstrations.
Foraging Mushrooms
Alan Carner of Black Hills Mushrooms will have a Mushroom Identification table and will be available for discussion about foraging mushrooms in the Black Hills.
Cooking & Eating Mushrooms
Chef Travis Bartels of BrewBerry Bistro will hold mushroom cooking demonstrations. The health benefits of mushrooms will be discussed.
The results will be available as sample
hors d’oeuvres!
Vendors
A variety of vendors will have booths at the Mushroom Festival!
The Farmstand at Bear Butte Gardens
The farmstand will be open for shopping! We feature products from about 60 local farmers, ranchers, gardeners, artists, and crafters.

Face Painting!
Organic Farm Tours
Rick will be leading free tours of the Bear Butte Gardens Organic Farm. Topics include: vegetable gardens, high-tunnel greenhouse, goats, Icelandic sheep, chickens, livestock guadian dogs, compost, Permaculture, adapting a farm to climate change, and more!
Dogs and Other Pets
Bear Butte Gardens is home to three Livestock Guardian Dogs. These dogs will be in well-fenced paddocks during the festival. However, we ask you to please leave your dog (and other pets) at home and do NOT bring them to the Mushroom Festival.

Overnight Camping
Bear Butte State Park and Campground is located about one mile to the north of the Mushroom Festival. Campsites (non-electrical) are available for $16 per night.
