About Events at Bear Butte Gardens

Throughout the year, Bear Butte Gardens hosts a variety of events that bring people together to learn, share food, and celebrate the growing season. Our events highlight organic gardening, local food, and the beauty of the northern Black Hills.

Some events focus on hands-on learning, such as gardening workshops and cooking classes. Others are designed simply to gather people together around good food and good company, like farm-to-table dinners and seasonal celebrations. Many of our events are small and informal, allowing guests to enjoy the peaceful setting of the farm while connecting with others who share an interest in gardening, cooking, and local agriculture.

Most of these events take place at our farm just outside of Sturgis, near Bear Butte. The location provides a relaxed atmosphere where visitors can experience an organic farm while learning practical skills and meeting members of the local community.
